Professional Credentials
Before joining Skoubye Nielson & Johansen, Joseph practiced law at the Idaho-based firm Racine, Olson, Nye & Budge, Chartered. Prior to that, he clerked in the Seventh Judicial District of Idaho for the Honorable Judge Gregory W. Moeller, who is now an associate justice in of the Supreme Court of Idaho. While a law student, Joseph worked as an extern for the Honorable Chief Justice Christine M. Durham of the Supreme Court of Utah and the Honorable Chief Judge Ted Stewart in the United States District Court of the District of Utah.
Education
In 2010, Joseph graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor in studio arts (drawing and painting) and a minor in English. He then graduated magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU in 2013, where he was a Lead Articles Editor on the Law Review and a legal writing teaching assistant.

Personal
Joseph is from Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He and his wife have five children and enjoy running, triathlons, and traveling together.
